Sorry for the delay in posting. Waiting for my model Olivia Hunter, she’s been busy with Fashion Week NYC, Fashion Week Latinas. So she’s been busy.
One thing I love doing, anything that has to do wedding. I bought a Vintage Wedding dress from the thrift store in Brooklyn, New York, I said I was going to look up the dress and see if it’s valued more than what I paid for it, which was $7 dollars. It has a vintage look and feel. I think I will post it up.
This white wedding side comb piece, was focused on the piece on it. Bought from the fabric store for only a $1. There is always something I can pick up from a fabric store and make something out of it.
I wanted to make a side head-piece and by the way, I will be making a side piece in black, for a while but wasn’t sure how I wanted it. The only way to make it, is to make it vintage style. I will do anything vintage, that is how much I love it.
The tulle on, isn’t what I wanted but it’s very hard to find that kind I really want around my area. So I opted for this. I still love the way it came out.
Now this second piece I wasn’t sure if I wanted or take it apart. When I tried on Olivia, I like the way it look on her. Just a simple comb, flowers, white leaves again the piece on it was bought at the fabric store. I bought a few that day,. If it’s on sale, clearance, 50 or 75% off I am buying it. Only a person who is knowledgeable with arts & craft and is to making things would know what to do with it the moment you buy it.
I just added to it and I thought it would or was too much, well not at all. I love the way it looks on her. It’s just imagination, is what is needed when doing arts & crafts and we all have imagination and creativity. So please enjoy and leave a comment.
