Seafood Boil

Wow what a feast I had. A seafood Boil Feast at it.

In this feast I had

  1. Shrimp
  2. Craw Fish
  3. Stone Crabs
  4. Mussels
  5. Crabs
  6. King Crab Legs
  7. Clams
  8. Lobster Claws
  9. Red Potato
  10. Corn On the Cob
  11. Red Snapper Fish
  12. Fresh Lemon

For seasoning I used

  1. Butter
  2. Old Bay Seasoning
  3. Louisiana Cajun Seasoning

First thing first, make sure you clean you mussels and clams well. I use a special brittle tooth brush to scrape all the dirt of the clams and keep them in water. You be surprise how much dirt they have. I snap my king crab legs in all three places. It’s easier to get all that seasoning in.

Now how I do mine is totally different. People tend to add their seafood into seasoned boiling water, well I don’t. I steam mine with lots of butter, Old Bay and Cajun Seasoning, cover it up and stir it so all that butter and seasoning are well mixed. This process is a little longer but believe me when I say is the best and tasty. In the mix of all of the seasons add freshly squeezed lemon to it. Remove all the seafood and place aside. With the Butter, Old Bay and Cajun seasoning in the pot add more butter and let it simmer for 10 minutes and pour over the steam seafood. And you can use the butter for dipping your seafood.

I boil my Potatoes, Corn and Lobster Craw together to make sure the corn and potato getsthat seafood taste. I also add Old Bay and Cajun seasoning into the water.

Red Snapper, I seasoned it with freshly squeezed Lemon Juice, Old Bay, Cajun and homemade garlic paste, add some cut up onions. Place in the oven 350 for 20 minutes and remove.

Now I also did Shrimp Avocado salad.

Cook shrimp, avocado with lemon juice, red onions and tomatoes. I my Adobo seasoning from Goya.
